Fido & Felix Beef Diet contains 60% whole Carp fish  bone in, 15% beef meat, 15% beef organs and 10% beef tripe. The carp we use is locally caught in Last Mountain Lake by a commercial fisherman. We only use lean, pasture raised, grass fed Saskatchewan beef, organs and tripe in the production of our Saskatchewan Surf 'n Turf Raw Food Blend patties. Our products are manufactured right here in Saskatchewan. All the meats used in the production of our products are food grade and fit for human consumption.
 
Carp is a highly nutritious freshwater fish that makes an excellent addition to any raw diet for dogs and cats. Naturally rich in protein, healthy fats, and essential vitamins and minerals, carp helps support strong muscles, healthy skin and coat, and overall vitality.
Carp is naturally rich in B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12), which support healthy metabolism, nerve function, and energy production. It’s also an excellent source of vitamin D — essential for strong bones and immune health — and contains small amounts of vitamins A and C for added antioxidant support.
 
Grass fed beef is higher in protein and Omega 3 EFA’s and lower in fat than its grain fed counterpart and is an excellent source of various vitamins and minerals, in particular B12 and Zinc, as well as B6, niacin, selenium, phosphorus and iron. Beef protein is highly nutritious and promotes muscle maintenance and growth. It is also an abundant source of bioactive compounds and antioxidants such as creatine, taurine, glutathione, and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid).
 
Beef liver is nutrient dense and has numerous health benefits. In addition to its good vitamin profile, beef liver is also rich in minerals, including zinc, iron, phosphorus, selenium, and copper.
 
Beef Tripe is a great addition and offers manganese, iron, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese and selenium, B complex vitamins, vitamins A, C, D and E, a perfect 1:1 ratio of calcium and phosphorus, a perfect balance of omega-6 and omega-3 essential fatty acids and contains linoleic and linolenic fatty acids, prebiotics and probiotics, amino acids.  It supports gut health and in turn increased immunity which makes it a great addition for dogs with allergies and food sensitivities. It is a good choice for dogs with kidney disease as it has a low phosphorus level and is easily digested and will appeal to them when they are suffering from low appetite.
