Fido & Felix Beef Diet contains 40% beef meat, 40% pork meat 10% ground beef bone and 10% pork organs. We only use lean, pasture raised, grass fed Saskatchewan beef and lean Saskatchewan Pork in the production of our Beef Pork Raw Food Blend patties. Our products are manufactured right here in Saskatchewan. All the meats used in the production of our products are food grade and fit for human consumption.
 
Grass fed beef is higher in protein and Omega 3 EFA’s and lower in fat than its grain fed counterpart and is an excellent source of various vitamins and minerals, in particular B12 and Zinc, as well as B6, niacin, selenium, phosphorus and iron. Beef protein is highly nutritious and promotes muscle maintenance and growth. It is also an abundant source of bioactive compounds and antioxidants such as creatine, taurine, glutathione, and CLA (conjugated linoleic acid).
 
Pork is considered a red meat and is high in protein. It is a good source of vitamins and minerals such as phosphorus, zinc, potassium, and selenium as well as creatine, taurine and glutathione. You might be surprised to find that pork is an abundant source of B vitamins and is richer in thiamine ( vitamin B1) than other red meats such as beef and lamb. Thiamine contributes to the maintenance and prevention of disease in the nervous system, brain, muscles, heart, stomach and intestines. Pork is a healthy choice to include in your pet's diet!
 
Some pets develop sensitivities to beef due to over-vaccination as bovine protein is used in the production of vaccines but if your pet doesn’t fall into this category then our Beef Pork Raw Food Blend is a great, affordable option to include in your pet’s diet!
